This study examines the correlation between resilience and quality of life domains amongmiddle-aged adults. Results reveal significant positive correlations between resilience andPsychological Health (r = 0.409, p < 0.001), Social Relationships (r = 0.265, p < 0.05), andEnvironment (r = 0.325, p < 0.001). Psychological Health encompasses mental well-being,including aspects such as emotional stability, self-esteem, and coping mechanisms. The studyhighlights how individuals with higher resilience scores tend to report better psychologicalhealth outcomes, indicating a protective effect against stressors and psychological distress.Similarly, Social Relationships encompass the quality of interactions with family, friends, and the broader community. The findings suggest that resilient individuals may experiencegreater social support, stronger social networks, and improved interpersonal relationships, contributing to overall well-being. Environment refers to the physical and social context inwhich individuals live, work, and engage in daily activities. Resilient middle-aged adults aremore likely to perceive their environment as supportive, safe, and conducive to their wellbeing, leading to higher quality of life ratings in this domain. However, the study indicates aweak correlation between physical health and resilience among this demographic. Thesefindings highlight the influential role of resilience in shaping individuals’ perceptions of wellbeing across various aspects of their lives. Furthermore, the lack of substantial correlationwith physical health underscores the complex impact of resilience on somatic well-being inmiddle-aged adults. This research sheds light on the nuanced relationship between resilienceand quality of life, offering valuable insights into how resilience affects specific domains ofwell-being.

AbstractChildhood trauma encompasses adverse experiences such as emotional abuse, neglect, physicalabuse, and exposure to violence, which can profoundly influence psychological well-being intoadulthood. This study investigates the effects of early life trauma on adult mental health, with afocus on identifying the most prevalent forms of trauma and their psychological consequences.Using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form (CTQ-SF), data was collected from 80participants aged 21 years and above. The study alsohighlights the significant impact of these experiences on adult mental health, including symptomsof anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and cognitive impairments. Furthermore,mindfulness-based strategies such as meditation and deep breathing were identified as effectivecoping mechanisms, promoting emotional resilience among respondents. This research underscores the critical importance of early identification and intervention tomitigate the lasting effects of childhood trauma. It calls for trauma-informed care approaches andcomprehensive training for mental health professionals to address the unique needs of affectedindividuals.
